Hoggetowne 2026 — The Tales of Robin Hood

"More Than A King"

Auditions will be held Saturday, August 23rd, and Sunday, August 24th
Fall Training begins on Saturday, September 6th


 We are looking for volunteer actors, jugglers, tumblers, stage combatants, and stage crew to participate in our Living Chessboard for the 2026 Hoggetowne Medieval Faire!

Training in Acting, Improv, Tumbling, Stage Combat and Stunt Work will be available for interested participants. 

Please bring your driver’s license or photo ID. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to have their parent or guardian to sign required paperwork.

​Auditions will be held on August 23rd and 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rosa B. Williams Center. The center is located at 524 NW 1st St, Gainesville, FL, 32601.
While we prefer in-person auditions so as to examine interpersonal dynamics and character interactions, we realize some people may have outstanding commitments. If you cannot attend auditions, you are invited to submit an online audition here.
